Many candidates mistakenly assume we are a recruitment agency. We are not. Here's how our outsourcing model works and what it means for you as an employee.
Many candidates mistakenly assume that we are a recruitment agency (Employment Agency, EA). We are not an EA and do not hold an EA licence.
What We Do
We provide F&B operations and cleaning services to our clients. Our clients outsource these functions to us, and we are responsible for managing the service delivery.
This means we:
- Recruit and employ our own staff directly.
- Prepare work rosters and schedules.
- Pay salaries and benefits directly to our employees.
- Provide training and performance management.
- Manage inventory, operational standards, and service quality.
- Support clients with operational improvements, promotions, and day-to-day management.
How We Differ from a Recruitment Agency
A recruitment agency's role is mainly to introduce or place candidates with a client. Once the candidate joins the client, the client manages the employee directly.
Our model is different:
- You are employed by us, not the client.
- We remain responsible for your deployment, scheduling, training, and employment matters.
- We manage the service contract and operational outcomes for our clients.
Similar to an Outsourcing / Subcontracting Model
A good example is airport operations. Airlines often outsource certain services to specialist companies, which then recruit, train, schedule, and manage the manpower required to deliver those services.
Our business operates in a similar way. Clients outsource their F&B or cleaning operations to us, and we manage the manpower and service delivery.
Deployment and Work Location
Most employees are assigned to one or two fixed outlets on a regular basis.
Occasionally, you may be asked to support another nearby outlet to cover situations such as:
- Medical leave (MC)
- Annual leave
- Unexpected manpower shortages
- Peak operational periods
These cross-deployments are occasional and operationally driven. Employees are not expected to move between different outlets on a daily basis.
